Description:
- Scheduling patient visits using scheduling policies, availability of providers and the urgency of the appointment as directed by the patient’s needs.
- Provides exception customer service, organizational skills and demonstrates the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
- Assist management with various clerical duties as needed.
- Scanning Correspondence
- Answers phone quickly with no more than 3 rings
- Assist customers and front line with phone inquiries
- UR back up
- Performs other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have at least one year of cashier and cash handling experience and be comfortable handling and counting his or her own cash drawer.
- Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations.
- Must be able to communicate politely and effectively with guests and other employees.
- Ability to function as a bilingual Spanish-speaking agent in resolving issues and completing requests for information, confidential clinical data, and hospital services.
