Here at the Radiology Department at Frio Regional Hospital, we take pride in combining the latest in imaging technology with the best in patient care. We strive to provide excellent service in the most comfortable, timely manner possible.
Radiology services we provide
Our staff includes specialists who are certified in multiple imaging techniques by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. We’ve also been American College of Radiology accredited in mammography since 1999.
Whether you’re here to get a simple imaging test (such as an x-ray for a broken bone) or a more complex procedure (such as a mammogram to screen for breast cancer), you can be assured of prompt, personal and professional service.

Your safety is our concern
Patient safety is always on our mind. We employ software that compares and keeps track of the radiation dose of every CT scan we perform. We also have a CT Dose Reduction Committee to monitor those records, ensuring that every patient gets the maximum benefit from the minimum dose possible.
Convenient location and hours
Our Frio hospital is conveniently located right off the IH-35 corridor, so it’s ideal for people living in Pearsall and the surrounding areas, including Dilley, Divot and Moore. We offer outpatient radiology services until 7 p.m. on weekdays. We have a 24-hour radiologist for inpatients.
