Description:
Responsibilities include administering direct patient care and any other duty deemed necessary to insure optimal patient care and physician services. Performs other duties assigned. Performs under the direction and supervision of the professional nurse (RN or LVN).
- Performs personal care duties as assigned.
- Performs light housekeeping duties when assigned.
- Performs all basic nursing assistant skills identified on skills checklist.
- Reads and follows daily care plans.
- Documents follow-through and report changes in patient condition to RN.
- Comply with all company policies.
Qualification/Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certified Texas Nurse’s Aide Certification
- Must have CPR certification
- Demonstrate competency in skills needed to fulfill obligations of position
- Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
- Able to be reached by a working phone number during course of employment
